This day is not only special because of it being Veteran day (I already posted on this).
Today is also special for me because it is my Mother’s Birthday! She is my best friend, my advisor, my guidance counselor. This woman gave up so much for her family that I would making a never ending list on here.
This woman is strong, is nurturing but when she needs to give me some hard tough love she will dish it out.
Everything my mother has gone through medically, emotionally I am amaze at how she lives her life full of zest. This woman still took care of her youngest grandson.
So on this day Mommy, I want to wish you a Happy Birthday! Insha’Allah you have many more years with us! I love you, you are my mentor.
