My projects

I have been kept busy and this week is just as busy Alhamdulilah!!

I have been trying to get away from social media and for two months I think I have been successful. I don’t feel as negative anymore nor do I feel like I’m not accomplishing anything

Here are a few pictures of projects that I have been doing. If you would like to see more of my life in pictires please follow me on @a_loving_wife.

I have been trying my green thumb and I think I am being succesful. My seeds sprouted… well only two of them and I transferred them to a small pot to see if they keep growing.. so far I do not see anything so I’m hoping I didn’t kill them…

My very first Crochet project. It took my about 2 months and it isn’t the best but I believe for being my first one I did great. My hubby started using it immediately since it is getting colder here.

I have completed two more blankets. These are gifts for a friend that had twins. Yes she had a boy and girl!! They are very simple but they are better then my first one. U have to pack them today and send them tomorrow since it is raining so hard I don’t want to risk getting them wet.

I still have two more baby blankets to do which I’m working on now and hopefully finish this week.

I am loving this a bit more then the sewing especially since I can work o this pretty much anywhere. I guess with the sewing machine that I have I’m getting frustrated since it keeps messing up the thread..

So I have not forgotten you my precious wordpress world. I have just been taking a back seat and working some angles that Insha’Allah will benefit our life here at home. Once everything is settled and done I’ll let everyone know what it is..

Until next time,

Dear @realdonaldtrump,

My name is Marwa, and I am a Muslim.

I heard you wanted us the start wearing ID badges, so I decided to choose one for myself.

I am not easily identifiable as a ‪

just by looking at me, so my new badge will let me display proudly who I am.

I chose the peace sign because it represents my ‪

The one that taught me that killing one innocent life is equivalent to killing humanity.

I heard you want to track us as well.

You can come with me on my Cancer Awareness walks at the local middle school, or you can follow me to work where it’s my job to create happiness.

A Candle stands alone

A candle stands alone, vigilant at keeping the darkness at bay. There is a small hope a spark of love that is shining through for you to see. Don’t work on the darkness but cast it away with all of your might. Work on reaching that candle the one that stands alone.

Grasp it and never let it go, let its warmth sooth your troubled soul. Let the light from it blind you and help you banish the darkness from you. This candle stands alone, it is yours to keep, never lose hope.

It’s a whisper of hope, a cry of victory that will give you peace. Let the peacefulness of its stillness sooth our anguish and pain. A candle stands alone, through all the darkness around it, it stands vigilant to its role.

This candle stands alone, its yours to keep. Let it help you, sooth you and give you the strength you need.

You are my Hero, the one I look up to the image of what I want to become…

You are the one I look up to and I see the image of what I want to become. You have lived a hard life, battling family, strangers, hunger, pain and discrimination. That didn’t stop you from fighting back, to stand up to what you believe in. Protecting the young, standing in front of someone that cannot fight back.

You are my hero, the one I look up to the imagine of what I want to become. If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t know how to be a decent human being. Your leadership is an example many should try to implement, it is horrigying how many opt for hatered and division. You though, you stand alone even though your surrounded.

You are my hero, the one I look up to the image of what I want to become. Even though some fights you fell you managed to get back up and keep fighting. Even though your spirit would falter you wouldn’t let it break. You knew that fighting for good could get you killed, banned, and mocked. You stand here tall with pride and with unwavering faith.

You are my hero, the one I look up to the image of what I want to become. I have just started my life but seeing your example I try to follow your footsteps. I am proud to be called one of your one, to stand against evil and to be a warrior of God. Many will falter, will change their convictions and run to become the weak.

I give you my word of honor that I will not falter, I have been tested and there will be more. I will stand as tall as the sky and wide as the oceans. I will be unrelenting, I will be the force that protects the weak, the victims and yes even the cowards. I will forever be the warrior of God as I have always been and if my life is forfieted then I will relenquish it if I know that the innocent are protected.

We are a few but we are a force that will not let hate or evil keep winning. This is my revolution this is my war I will stand and fight,, I will stand as my hero before me did.

You are my hero, the one I look up to the image of what I want to become.
Until Next Time,

Anniversary Picture’s

So a few pictures from or anniversary vacation.

We went and walked around the Hoover Dam, we were so early that the tours and Museums were closed. We enjoyed our trip though.

After our trip to the Dam, we went had a boat tour that took us around black canyon and a different vew of the Hoover Dam.

Such beauty around us we were so overwhelmed by it. The heat had us going into our room for the hotest part of the day. Once it cooled off we enjoyed the outside courtyard and the palor that the resort had. Amazing service and the concierge helped us with our daily activities since we didn’t want to go to Las Vegas at all..

So here are a few pictures of our vaca, enjoy!!

We even saw a duck and bass fish when we were wiring for our boat tour to begin.
Hubby loves autos, so he saw these at the parking station and just had to take a picture.
