Yes I know this might not be the perfect title for this but it just feels like me. Bare with me let me explain (that means stop rolling your eyes). Of course every writer says the same thing right.. We are passionate in writing and we love putting our imagination into black and white for other people to read..
Yea not necessarily true for me. Why you say. I always thought I SUCKED at writing. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE putting my imagination into black and white, but when I think of letting other people read it. ALARM ALARM ALARM I freak out!! I’ve always written poetry in English and Spanish. I’ve also written short stories, unfortunately in high school my English teacher Ms. Dunc….(I wont put all her name down) took my spiral notebook and said she was going to give it to someone she knows. Just to see if I had some potential… Well she never gave me the book back and told me I sucked in writing. After that I just stopped writing.
Of course life took me on a path and I was away from writing for many years. Finally when I meet hubby I tell him that I used to write. On my birthday he bought me a purple journal (favorite color!!) and purple pen. Well I got my inspiration and slowly (very slowly) I have started to write again. I don’t know if I’m good or even passable.
Talking to my hubby and him opening his BIG mouth to one of his friends (by the way she has a teaching degree and I didn’t know), she reads the beginning of Shadow Voices. Well she liked it. Told me I had to edit of course and should think about putting it out there to get feedback. I can say if it wasn’t for their support I don’t think I would have continued the story and actually start publishing it.
So this is me the writer.. maybe but I’m giving it a shot. As long as I have at least one person wanting to read my work (hubby LOVE YOU) I will call myself a writer lol.
Found your blog on OM and the title of your site caught my eye. I am a muslim myself and it’s always good to meet other muslims on the internet. I followed your blog and I hope we can connect š
P.S I used this theme too, and I love it! It’s clean and cool for writers. Thumbs up for your choice of blog-theme š

I love your blog. So glad you decided to post it on OM’s Meet and Greet post. It is pretty scary to hit that post button on something like that, at least it was for me. But this is really good. Can’t wait to read more.
